Salma's last blast?

Salma posted this earlier this evening - she'd like some feedback. Make the most of this dear students, I'll be starting a new duty in my morning job next week, then a new IELTS course will be starting on 5 March. How fortunate you have been that I have had spare time in recent weeks and that my wife is a very understanding lady!

-Universities should accept equal numbers of male and female students in every subject. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There are many differences between the male and female in their trends and interest in the life such as sports, social life, and education. These differences due to their physical structure which is make them different in many thanks. On of the differences shaped in studies trend. So I disagree with the opinion which says that the university should accept the equal numbers of male and female students in every subject.

I believe that study choice is different from male and female. Some studies is suits men more than women such as military studies. These types of studies attract men more than women. For instance, in UAE the majority of the men enroll in military studies more than women. On the other hand, the study type it is depends in the type of work in future. So working in military its difficult for women because it needs special skills such as the ability to work under difficult circumstances during the war and stay away from home for long time.

In addition, studying the aviation also its attract the men more than women. For many reasons women prefer not to study this kind of studies. Because of the conditions of working in this filed. Working as a aviator (pilot) required that the women must be single and this means if the women join this job she will lost when she married. On more thing lead the women not to choose an aviations study is the period of flights which let her be away for long time from home.

In summary, I think it is difficult for the universities to accept the same number of male and female in every subject, because the desire of students either male or female it is decide the number of students in each subject.

-Universities should accept equal numbers of male and female students in every subject. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There are many differences between males and females in their nature and interests in life such as sports, social life, and education. These differences are due to their physical characteristics which is make them different in so many aspects, one of which is their aptitude for academic study. In this essay I will discuss why I disagree with the opinion which says that universities should accept equal numbers of male and female students in every subject. {Same grammar mistake repeated 6 times - wrong use of "the" - it was featured in the essay title, Salma !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!}

I believe that one's choice of study is different from men and women. Some studies suit men more than women such as military studies. These types of studies attract men more than women. For instance, in the UAE significantly more men enroll in military studies compared to women. Working in the military is difficult for women because it needs special skills such as the ability to work under difficult conflict circumstances and staying away from home for long periods.

In addition, studying aviation also attracts men more than women. There are many reasons why women prefer not to study this kind of studies because of the conditions of working in this field. Working as a pilot requires that women must be single and unmarried. It also means that a female pilot would have to be away from home for a long time - this is unacceptable. {Hang on, the essay is about what to STUDY at university - NOT about equal opportunity at work}

In summary, I think it is impractical for universities to accept the same number of males and females in every subject. This is because it is the academic aspirations of students, either male or female, which decides the number of students in each subject.

This essay is not acceptable. Your interpretation of the topic is narrow and not relevant. You do not personalise enough your argument related to male/female dynamics in the UAE society as a whole. You only have one idea/example per paragraph. Again you make the basic grammar mistake of wrongly using "the" many, many times. Your introduction and conclusion do not mesh. Your conclusion is inconclusive and unclear. Relax, take a Panadol or two and get an early night, Salma. Your previous essay on the media was of a higher standard.

Good night and sleep well, tomorrow will be very demanding.

Tony
