So it goes ...

Well, it's almost time to start a new chapter. See how IELTS drains you and now you don't have that cloud hanging over you - just the results to wait for. Now you realise how amazing it was that the www.ieltsmagic.blogspot.com student, Mohammed Saeed managed to sit down and write up his IELTS test while it was still fresh in his memory. Mona has promised to do so as well, maybe her account will appear soon...

In the meantime, I salute you,
ieltswatch blog students, for your keenness and support of the weblog. In due course, I shall notify you of the new IELTS course starting next Monday, 5 March. It will be three days a week over a four week period - that is the optimum arrangement for students (and tutors!). It will probably be a three day block - Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday. I'm sure someone will ask for a different combination, it's human nature to seek alternatives and you simply can't please all of the people all of the time, can you?

Those of you pursuing Master's degree programmes, I wish you every success. Drop in to our new weblogs and encourage the IELTS knowledge seekers to pursue their dreams.

I'm trying to get a former student, Sana' Rasheed, to post us a message about how the IELTS course gave her confidence to use English more effectively in her work as an architect and even inspired her to take up learning French! She saw that she can combine a demanding professional career with taking on the academic challenge of IELTS or learning a new foreign language. Bravo, Sana'! Let's hear from you...

This blog will inevitably become more quiet now. You will move on and in time give us news of your results and future plans. Then it will be the new course and a new weblog which will take centre stage.

Mutaz and Imad, we missed hearing from you! Maybe it is already too late for you to start blogging. You both and others IELTSing in March are most welcome to join the next blog - the February IELTS veterans
are especially invited !

Stand by for news of the new weblog later this week.

Your comments, posts, news and views are always welcome!

Bye for now and good luck!

Your friend

Tony
