Hello,
I think I will enjoy being a member of this Blog :)
Take care and Bye.

Way to go, Mouza!

Super start! We need leaders to 'kick start' this weblog.

You didn't guess my second daughter's name. She was born in Abu Dhabi and takes after her mother with lustrous dark hair and brown eyes. We chose an Arabic name for her which also is recognised in the West. In Gulf Arabic it means the biggest pearl that the 'nakhuda' would find. So, her name is: _ _ _ _ !

Health warning: this blogging can get addictive (and why not?).

Come on the other 16, follow Mouza's example!

I am reminded of the Charles DICKENS novel "A Tale of Two Cities" - here we have "A Tale of Two Sisters". Not only that, we have "A Tale of Two Pairs of Sisters" - quite intriguing!

Let's hear from one of the Maleki sisters and put the menfolk in the class to shame!

Good night, Mouza, thank you very much for starting the ball rolling!

Hello
Your daughter's name is Dana, my daughter name is Ranwa, any body know what does Ranwa mean in arabic ?

Tony Beale said...

Correct, Hanan!

My Dana is a doctor too and is doing her first year as a junior doctor (intern in the USA)in our local general hospital in my home town of Watford, Hertfordshire in the UK.

My eldest daughter is called Sheherazade, after Dana comes Nadine, with 'Princess' Zeena being the youngest, albeit the tallest of my stunning quartet.

Sheherazade turns 27 on 5 Feb, she is a primary school teacher (Year 5 ) in a UK government school; Dana is 25, Nadine will be 23 on 3 Feb and plans to do research (?) on animals after a 'gap year' and Zeena is 12 years old, is in Year 8 at the British School Al Khubairat - she plays the violin and clarinet superbly and sings like an angel!

As you can see, I am extremely proud of my wonderful girls!

Sorry, can't help you with the meaning of 'Ranwa' but I can explain the meanings of Sheherazade, Dana, Nadine and Zeena, if anyone is interested???

Bye for now
