Check those email inboxes!

Hello again!

So you ARE reading the weblog! A good start...

Have you checked your inboxes? I sent out 17 invitations about three hours ago!!!

This is how it is. You got 'hosed' last night by me. I'm nagging you to check your inboxes. Soon I'll be complaining that you aren't posting messages / putting written work on the weblog. These three weeks are critical if you REALLY want to see some improvement in your IELTS potential!

Reasons to be cheerful:

  • the weather is terrific
  • it's a long weekend
  • we don't have lessons on Thursdays [thanks, Peter!]
  • we have a super room with a sea view and plenty of space
  • you have been given, Tony Beale, the British Council's most experienced IELTS tutor
  • you have lots of material to look through over the weekend
  • the weblog is going to help everyone work together better
  • the English language standard of the class seems promising
  • there is diversity and a lot of energy in the class
  • you are not alone in your fears, worries, doubts

Reasons to be thoughtful:
  • IELTS is a daunting challenge
  • you haven't been taking such an intensive language course in a long while
  • work, studies, family, the course are very demanding
  • Tony has exceptional expectations and pushes himself and his students very hard indeed

So, first things first, accept my invitation, open your Google account (contact email + password) and let's hear from you!

Time is ticking! I don't want to hear excuses!

Standing by

Tony
